Welcome to the "Renewable Energies in Hessen" competence Atlas
The competence atlas is a service from the ‘Aktionslinie Hessen-Umwelttech’ (Hessen Environmental Technology Campaign Line) from the Hessian Ministry of Economy, Transport, Urban and Regional Development (Hessischen Ministeriums für Wirtschaft, Verkehr und Landesentwicklung, HMWVL). It presents an overview of the renewable energies sector in Hessen, all in one location, and introduces the skilled individuals involved, by means of personal profiles. In so doing, the atlas provides an overview of the companies in Hessen that are active in the field of renewable energies at a regional, national and international level, provides information on the focal points of activity and research and promotes further networking within the sector.

In order to take into account the complexity and diversity of the topic itself and of the Hessian companies and institutions, the competence atlas considers the entire supply chain (sectors) from research and development, to plant operation and important technologies such as electricity, heating, cooling and biomass technology.
